Now keep in mind, Miyamoto is nothing but complimentary about what the Vita has going on under the hood, but when it comes to the launch software lineup of titles, Miyamto says “I don’t really see the combination of software and hardware that really makes a very strong product.”
While the excerpt from the Edge piece, part of a larger feature in an upcoming issue, seems like a major dig at Sony, Miyamoto seems to be offering some friendly advice to the competition, citing Nintendo’s own problems moving hardware during the 3DS launch window….

Sweden-based studio SkyGoblin has announced the commercial remake of their free adventure title, The Journey Down: Episode One, will be released May 18th on Windows, Mac, and Linux for a suggested retail price of $13.99. Android and iOS ports will follow shortly.
The Journey Down is a point-and-click adventure about a couple of down-on-their-luck gas station attendants who get thrown into “a twisting plot of corruption, laughs and brainteasing adventure.” It’s heavily steeped in African culture, with character designs based on wood carvings and masks from the Makonde and Chokwe tribes. …
